CORPUS Acrobatics is a well-established acrobatic theatre company out of the Netherlands that has been staging spectacular acrobatic shows all over the world for more than ten years. Its circus theatre shows stand out because of their great visual impact, expression, sensational acrobatics, choreography, unique elegance and personal style.

The various acrobatic disciplines from Corpus are performed by a well trained and highly qualified international team of acrobats. These disci-plines range from aerial and ground/ partner acro-batics to contortionism (snake people), all of which serve as functional ele-ments within the develop-ment of the performance, choreography and music. Corpus Acrobatic Theatre has made an important contribution to the develop-ment of modern circus, in which the poetical and visual expression of the acrobatics has come to play a key role.

Since 2000 the company has been also working with video art/projections and incorporated this medium into multi-media circus shows. The influence of the visual arts is always very present in the Corpus choreographies with a lot of attention to lighting, music, sets, special effects and costume design.
